The plumbing across these suburbs splits by era, and knowing which you are in shapes the job. On a raised Queenslander the meter is usually at the front boundary, and there is often a second isolation point under the house. Then call us. Our emergency service runs around the clock.

Under-house pipework, mostly. Original copper and galvanised runs beneath a raised house are exposed to air and moisture in a way that in-slab pipework is not, and they corrode quietly for years before anything shows inside. The upside is access: a plumber can usually see and reach the whole run, so a proper inspection is quick and cheap. Worth doing once rather than waiting for a ceiling stain.
Do the meter test before calling anyone. Turn off every tap, appliance and irrigation line, photograph the meter including the red dials, wait an hour using no water at all, then read it again.
