Flagstone is one of the fastest-growing communities in the country, and almost everything here is new – which shapes the work completely. Most of what we’re called to are handover and warranty-period faults: waste lines laid with too little fall, wet areas leaking at the shower join, mixers that were never adjusted properly, and hot water systems sized for two people in a four-bedroom house. Construction debris and silt left sitting in new lines is another regular, and it usually shows up as a slow-draining shower or a gurgling toilet a few months after you move in.
The ground matters too. The reactive clay through Greater Flagstone shifts with every wet-then-dry cycle, and that movement is what puts stress on slab penetrations and stormwater connections. Come storm season, new estates with young landscaping shed water fast, so we spend summer clearing overwhelmed pits and downpipe connections. We work right across Flagstone, Flagstone South, Riverbend, Silverbark Ridge, Jimboomba, New Beith, Undullah, Greenbank and Cedar Grove.

You approve the price before we pick up a tool. No hourly meter running, no bill shock.
A real person answers after hours, not a call centre that books you in for next week.

Really happy with Do Some Plumbing’s work on our bathroom renovation. They were knowledgeable and experienced, prompt and reliable. Great communication. Great care was taken by Dan to achieve what we wanted. We’re so happy with our bathroom and would recommend Do Some Plumbing for any plumbing needs

My experience with Do Some Plumbing was extremely satisfying. Adam took the trouble to research my unusual plumbing requirements, and he and Ethan had the job completed in a very short time. It is worth noting that I had contacted very many plumbers over a period of 5 months, and none was interested in undertaking the work. I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service standards.

I have a really simple expectation when I hire any tradesman. Show up when you say. Explain the method and the risks of the task. Communicate as needed. Complete the task. Leave my property in the same condition or better than you found it.
Every time the guys showed up they did exactly that, and made no fuss at all about doing the work. They didn’t inflate the difficulty to justify the cost, and were completely honest the whole time.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Tell us what's going on, we answer 24/7 for emergencies.
We quote before we start, you approve the cost, no surprises later.
Licensed local plumbers fix it fast and leave your place clean.

The cost of a plumber in Flagstone comes down to the job in front of us. A leaking mixer, a blocked drain, a hot water replacement and a leak under a new slab all sit at very different ends of the scale, so we price the job rather than the hour. You get a fixed price before work begins, in writing, with nothing added to it afterwards.
Quotes are free and carry no obligation anywhere in Greater Flagstone. If your home is still inside its builder’s warranty period, we’ll tell you straight up when something looks like a defect worth chasing with the builder rather than a repair you should be paying for. Whatever we do, it’s licensed, insured and covered by our workmanship guarantee.
Do Some Plumbing services homes and businesses across the Logan, Gold Coast, Brisbane & Ipswich. If you’re nearby, there’s a good chance we can get to you quickly.
If you’re not sure whether you’re within the service area, the easiest thing to do is give us a quick call. We’ll let you know straight away and point you in the right direction if you’re just outside our usual coverage.
Yes. Plumbing problems don’t always happen at convenient times. Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, and major leaks need attention quickly.
If something urgent happens, call and we’ll do our best to get a plumber out as soon as possible to stop the damage and get things under control.
It depends on where you’re located and what the schedule looks like that day.
Because we’re based in Logan, we’re already working in the surrounding suburbs most days. That means many jobs can be booked the same day, especially if you’re nearby.
For urgent problems like burst pipes, major leaks, or overflowing toilets, our priority is getting someone out quickly to stop the damage.
The best thing to do is give us a call, explain what’s happening, and we’ll let you know how soon we can get a plumber out to you.
Yes, 24/7, and we’re only up the road at Jimboomba, so Flagstone isn’t a long trip for us. If water is running, the mains tap at your meter box is the first thing to turn; in most new Flagstone homes it’s at the front boundary and easy to reach. Then ring us. New homes throw up their own emergencies, failed flexi-hoses, leaking shower joins and hot water units tripping out, and our emergency plumbers carry the parts for all three.
Generally within the hour, and often faster, we’re through Greater Flagstone most days, so there’s usually a van nearby rather than one being dispatched from town. Newer estates have one practical wrinkle: streets that don’t show up properly in navigation yet, and lots that look identical from the road. If you can give us a cross street or a landmark when you call, it genuinely saves time on arrival.
Yes, Flagstone, Flagstone South, Riverbend, Silverbark Ridge and the newer releases still being handed over, plus the established areas either side. We’re across Jimboomba, Greenbank, Yarrabilba, New Beith, Undullah, Cedar Grove and North Maclean daily. As Greater Flagstone keeps growing we grow with it, so you’re not dealing with someone treating the area as an occasional side trip. Full list on our service areas page.
All three. Office hours are 8am to 4pm; emergency cover doesn’t stop. Because Flagstone skews young, plenty of families, plenty of rentals, a lot of what we get called to is after work or on a Saturday, and it’s priced the same as a weekday job. If you’re a tenant, ring your agent first where you can; if it’s actively flooding, call us and sort the paperwork afterwards. Stopping the water matters more.
Free quotes on most jobs and a fixed, written price before we begin. Worth adding something specific to Flagstone: because so many homes here are still inside their builder’s warranty period, we’ll tell you plainly when a fault looks like a construction defect you should be chasing through your builder rather than a repair you should be paying us for. We’d rather give you that for nothing than quote you for something you’re already covered on.
Card, EFTPOS and bank transfer, with staged payments available on larger work like bathroom renovations or a full new home and renovation fit-out. Everything is carried out under our QBCC licence and to the Queensland Plumbing and Wastewater Code, and where a job is notifiable or needs approval we handle that rather than leaving it to you. The QBCC sets out which plumbing work is regulated if you want to check what applies to yours.
It’s the question we get asked most in Flagstone, and it’s worth asking. Waste lines laid with too little fall, shower joins that were never sealed properly, mixers left unadjusted and hot water systems undersized for the house are defects, not wear and tear. We’ll inspect it, tell you which category it falls into and put that in writing so you’ve got something to take to your builder. If you’d rather we just fixed it, we can do that too, but you should know which one you’re paying for. The QBCC’s guidance on choosing a licensed contractor is a useful starting point.
Rarely the mains, usually the house. In new builds the three culprits are debris and silt left in the lines during construction, tap and shower aerators clogged with that same grit, and pressure-limiting valves set low at handover. Occasionally it’s undersized pipework to an upstairs bathroom. All four are fixable and none require a new hot water system, whatever anyone tells you. Our rundown of why showers lose pressure covers what to check before you book anyone, and tap and fixture work is often all it takes.
