Helensvale is one of the larger established suburbs on this part of the Coast, and its plumbing splits along the lines of when each part was built. The nineties and early two-thousands housing is now well past the point where original copper, tap spindles, flexi-hoses, cisterns and hot water systems begin failing, and they rarely fail one at a time. That cluster effect is why a house that never needed a plumber suddenly seems to need one every few months.
The lake and canal estates are a different job again. Water frontage brings salt into the equation, which shortens the life of copper, brass fittings and hot water anodes, and it brings the usual questions about what sits inside your boundary and what belongs to the body corporate. Being a major transport and retail hub also means a solid commercial and strata workload alongside the houses. We are constantly through Hope Island, Pacific Pines, Gaven and Coomera.

You approve the price before we pick up a tool. No hourly meter running, no bill shock.
A real person answers after hours, not a call centre that books you in for next week.
QBCC licensed #15301995 and a member of Master Plumbers Queensland. Every job to code.
Fully stocked vans mean we fix most Logan jobs on the first visit, no return-trip fees.
We treat your home like our own, drop sheets down, boots off, mess cleaned up.
Our work is backed by a written guarantee. If something isn’t right, we come back.
Really happy with Do Some Plumbing’s work on our bathroom renovation. They were knowledgeable and experienced, prompt and reliable. Great communication. Great care was taken by Dan to achieve what we wanted. We’re so happy with our bathroom and would recommend Do Some Plumbing for any plumbing needs

My experience with Do Some Plumbing was extremely satisfying. Adam took the trouble to research my unusual plumbing requirements, and he and Ethan had the job completed in a very short time. It is worth noting that I had contacted very many plumbers over a period of 5 months, and none was interested in undertaking the work. I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service standards.

I have a really simple expectation when I hire any tradesman. Show up when you say. Explain the method and the risks of the task. Communicate as needed. Complete the task. Leave my property in the same condition or better than you found it.
Every time the guys showed up they did exactly that, and made no fuss at all about doing the work. They didn’t inflate the difficulty to justify the cost, and were completely honest the whole time.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Tell us what's going on, we answer 24/7 for emergencies.
We quote before we start, you approve the cost, no surprises later.
Licensed local plumbers fix it fast and leave your place clean.

Plumbing prices on the Gold Coast have a reputation, and it is mostly earned by hourly rates and after-hours surcharges that only surface on the invoice. We quote the job instead: a fixed price, in writing, approved by you before anything starts. A dripping tap, a hot water changeover, a blocked drain and a leak under a tiled floor are all priced differently and all priced up front.
Free, no-obligation quotes across Helensvale and the surrounding suburbs. Where a leak has to be located before it can be honestly priced, we quote the detection first, show you what we found, then quote the repair. If a body corporate or agent needs to approve the work, we will write it so it can go straight through.
Do Some Plumbing services homes and businesses across the Logan, Gold Coast, Brisbane & Ipswich. If you’re nearby, there’s a good chance we can get to you quickly.
If you’re not sure whether you’re within the service area, the easiest thing to do is give us a quick call. We’ll let you know straight away and point you in the right direction if you’re just outside our usual coverage.
Yes. Plumbing problems don’t always happen at convenient times. Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, and major leaks need attention quickly.
If something urgent happens, call and we’ll do our best to get a plumber out as soon as possible to stop the damage and get things under control.
It depends on where you’re located and what the schedule looks like that day.
Because we’re based in Logan, we’re already working in the surrounding suburbs most days. That means many jobs can be booked the same day, especially if you’re nearby.
For urgent problems like burst pipes, major leaks, or overflowing toilets, our priority is getting someone out quickly to stop the damage.
The best thing to do is give us a call, explain what’s happening, and we’ll let you know how soon we can get a plumber out to you.
Yes, 24/7, and a plumber answers rather than a call centre. In a house, shut the mains off at the meter near your front boundary. In a unit or townhouse, the isolation valve is often inside a cupboard or a common-area services cupboard, and if you cannot find it quickly, ring us and we will talk you through it while we are moving. Our 24/7 emergency service covers both.
Usually within the hour outside peak traffic. Helensvale sits well for us given the motorway and the main road network. You will get a window based on where the nearest van actually is, and a call if it slips. More on what a reasonable emergency response looks like if you want the detail.
Hope Island, Pacific Pines, Gaven, Coomera, Upper Coomera, Oxenford, Paradise Point and Coombabah. Full list on our service areas page.
Yes, 24/7 including public holidays, at the same fixed-quote pricing as a weekday job. No penalty rate for ringing at night, which matters more here than most places because after-hours surcharges are close to standard practice on the Coast and rarely mentioned in advance.
Free quotes on most jobs and a fixed written price before we begin, with no call-out fee added at the end. If we arrive and the job is genuinely different to what was described on the phone, we stop, re-quote and let you decide rather than pushing on and handing you a larger bill.
Card, EFTPOS and bank transfer, with staged payments on larger jobs, and yes, we invoice owners, agents and body corporates directly with the scope written clearly enough to approve without a second visit. We are QBCC licensed and members of the Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland if you would like to check us out before booking.
Roughly in this order: flexi-hoses under vanities and sinks, which have a finite life and fail without warning, then tap and mixer cartridges, then toilet cisterns, then the hot water system. None are expensive individually. All are expensive if a flexi-hose lets go while you are at work. Checking the age plate on your hot water unit is the highest-value five minutes you can spend, and fixture replacement covers most of the rest.
It depends where the failure is, and establishing that is the first thing we do. A leak within your own lot’s pipework is generally yours. A failure inside a shared stack, riser or common property is generally the body corporate’s. We identify which and put it in writing, because that is what a building manager needs before approving anything, and it stops the question turning into a standoff while the water keeps running.
