Molendinar is two suburbs sharing a name. There is the residential side, established homes on decent blocks now well into the age where original copper, tap spindles, cisterns and hot water systems begin failing, with mature trees finding cracked joints in ageing drainage. And there is the light industrial estate, full of workshops, trade businesses, small manufacturers and warehousing, which is an entirely different discipline.
That commercial side brings its own list: trade waste and arrestors, testable backflow prevention devices, hydrant services, and drainage sized for hardstand rather than a back yard. It also brings a different urgency, because a blocked drain in a workshop stops a business rather than inconveniencing a household. We hold the licensing for both sides and we are through Ashmore, Arundel and Gaven constantly.

You approve the price before we pick up a tool. No hourly meter running, no bill shock.
A real person answers after hours, not a call centre that books you in for next week.

Really happy with Do Some Plumbing’s work on our bathroom renovation. They were knowledgeable and experienced, prompt and reliable. Great communication. Great care was taken by Dan to achieve what we wanted. We’re so happy with our bathroom and would recommend Do Some Plumbing for any plumbing needs

My experience with Do Some Plumbing was extremely satisfying. Adam took the trouble to research my unusual plumbing requirements, and he and Ethan had the job completed in a very short time. It is worth noting that I had contacted very many plumbers over a period of 5 months, and none was interested in undertaking the work. I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service standards.

I have a really simple expectation when I hire any tradesman. Show up when you say. Explain the method and the risks of the task. Communicate as needed. Complete the task. Leave my property in the same condition or better than you found it.
Every time the guys showed up they did exactly that, and made no fuss at all about doing the work. They didn’t inflate the difficulty to justify the cost, and were completely honest the whole time.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Tell us what's going on, we answer 24/7 for emergencies.
We quote before we start, you approve the cost, no surprises later.
Licensed local plumbers fix it fast and leave your place clean.

Residential and commercial are priced the same way: the job, not the hour, quoted in writing before we start. What changes on commercial work is what the quote has to contain, namely scope, compliance obligations, certification and the disruption window, written clearly enough that a business owner or facilities manager can approve it without walking the site with us.
Free quotes with no obligation. For businesses we will also flag anything heading toward a compliance problem, such as an overdue backflow test or an arrestor undersized for current throughput, rather than waiting for it to become an urgent after-hours job. Cheaper for you and far less disruptive.
Do Some Plumbing services homes and businesses across the Logan, Gold Coast, Brisbane & Ipswich. If you’re nearby, there’s a good chance we can get to you quickly.
If you’re not sure whether you’re within the service area, the easiest thing to do is give us a quick call. We’ll let you know straight away and point you in the right direction if you’re just outside our usual coverage.
Yes. Plumbing problems don’t always happen at convenient times. Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, and major leaks need attention quickly.
If something urgent happens, call and we’ll do our best to get a plumber out as soon as possible to stop the damage and get things under control.
It depends on where you’re located and what the schedule looks like that day.
Because we’re based in Logan, we’re already working in the surrounding suburbs most days. That means many jobs can be booked the same day, especially if you’re nearby.
For urgent problems like burst pipes, major leaks, or overflowing toilets, our priority is getting someone out quickly to stop the damage.
The best thing to do is give us a call, explain what’s happening, and we’ll let you know how soon we can get a plumber out to you.
Yes, 24/7 for homes and businesses, answered by a plumber. If it is a commercial premises, tell us whether the problem is threatening stock, plant or trading, because that changes how we prioritise and what we bring. Isolate at the meter or the relevant valve if it is safe to. Our emergency service covers both sides.
Usually well within the hour. It is central and well connected. For commercial sites we will ask about roller door access, yard entry and after-hours arrangements when you call, because that is what actually costs time rather than the drive.
Yes, and both are core work. We are licensed for domestic, commercial, industrial and civil plumbing, so a workshop arrestor and a leaking tap in a house are equally in scope. We also cover Ashmore, Arundel, Gaven, Southport, Nerang and Pacific Pines.
Yes, and for a lot of our Molendinar commercial clients that is the point: work scheduled around trading so it does not stop the business, quoted at a fixed price rather than an after-hours rate. Tell us your operating window and we will build the job around it. Residential emergency cover runs 24/7 regardless.
Free quotes and fixed pricing on both residential and commercial. Commercial quotes come with the detail a business actually needs to approve them, and staged works are broken down by stage rather than handed over as one figure with nothing behind it.
Card, EFTPOS and bank transfer, and yes, we invoice businesses and property managers directly, with staged payments on larger works. General obligations for commercial premises are set out on Business Queensland, and we handle the plumbing side of compliance.
Yes. Testable backflow prevention devices need annual testing by a licensed and endorsed plumber, with results submitted to the local authority, and a lapsed test is a compliance issue rather than just paperwork. We test, service, replace and report. Worth pairing it with a check of any thermostatic mixing valves on site, which carry their own servicing obligations. Backflow prevention is core work for us.
On a commercial site it is rarely the same story as a house. The usual culprits are silt and debris washing off hardstand into pits never sized for it, grease or solids loading beyond what the arrestor was designed for, and drainage laid to a spec that no longer matches how the site is actually used. We jet and camera the lines first so you are fixing the cause rather than clearing the same blockage quarterly.
