Willow Vale is elevated bush acreage sitting behind the northern corridor, and the elevation is what makes plumbing here different. Water has to be pushed uphill across long distances, so pressure problems that would be a simple fix on a flat block become a question of pump sizing, pipe diameter and friction loss along the run. Get any of those wrong and you have a shower that works fine until someone opens a tap at the far end of the house.
Tree cover handles the rest. Heavy leaf litter fouls gutters, first-flush diverters and tank inlets faster than most people expect, which affects both water quality and pump life, and falling limbs are a genuine hazard to tanks and above-ground lines. Steep or unsealed driveways also limit what can physically get to a job, worth knowing before a tank delivery is booked. We work Kingsholme, Ormeau and Pimpama in the same run.

You approve the price before we pick up a tool. No hourly meter running, no bill shock.
A real person answers after hours, not a call centre that books you in for next week.

My experience with Do Some Plumbing was extremely satisfying. Adam took the trouble to research my unusual plumbing requirements, and he and Ethan had the job completed in a very short time. It is worth noting that I had contacted very many plumbers over a period of 5 months, and none was interested in undertaking the work. I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service standards.

I have a really simple expectation when I hire any tradesman. Show up when you say. Explain the method and the risks of the task. Communicate as needed. Complete the task. Leave my property in the same condition or better than you found it.
Every time the guys showed up they did exactly that, and made no fuss at all about doing the work. They didn’t inflate the difficulty to justify the cost, and were completely honest the whole time.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Tell us what's going on, we answer 24/7 for emergencies.
We quote before we start, you approve the cost, no surprises later.
Licensed local plumbers fix it fast and leave your place clean.

The job sets the price, not the clock. Replacing a tap, correcting pressure across a long uphill run, adding filtration to a bore supply and locating a leak along buried poly are four separate pieces of work. Each gets a fixed price in writing before we start, with the travel to an acreage block already inside it.
Quotes are free with no obligation. On pump and pressure work we would rather measure properly than guess, because the wrong pump on an elevated block is an expensive way to not fix the problem. Where diagnosis is needed first, it is priced separately and you decide what happens next.
Do Some Plumbing services homes and businesses across the Logan, Gold Coast, Brisbane & Ipswich. If you’re nearby, there’s a good chance we can get to you quickly.
If you’re not sure whether you’re within the service area, the easiest thing to do is give us a quick call. We’ll let you know straight away and point you in the right direction if you’re just outside our usual coverage.
Yes. Plumbing problems don’t always happen at convenient times. Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, and major leaks need attention quickly.
If something urgent happens, call and we’ll do our best to get a plumber out as soon as possible to stop the damage and get things under control.
It depends on where you’re located and what the schedule looks like that day.
Because we’re based in Logan, we’re already working in the surrounding suburbs most days. That means many jobs can be booked the same day, especially if you’re nearby.
For urgent problems like burst pipes, major leaks, or overflowing toilets, our priority is getting someone out quickly to stop the damage.
The best thing to do is give us a call, explain what’s happening, and we’ll let you know how soon we can get a plumber out to you.
Yes, 24/7, answered by a plumber. If a line has let go, shut off at the tank or pump isolation valve before you call, because out here a burst will drain a tank quickly and can run a pump until it damages itself. Mention your driveway access too, since on some properties that decides which vehicle we send. Emergency call-outs here are usually pump or supply related.
Usually inside the hour. Steep and unsealed driveways can add a few minutes at the property end, and in genuinely wet weather some access needs planning rather than improvising. We will give you a window we can hold.
Kingsholme, Ormeau, Pimpama, Ormeau Hills, Wongawallan, Upper Coomera and Coomera. Full coverage on our service areas page.
No. Cover runs 24/7 including weekends and public holidays, with both the after-hours element and the travel inside the fixed price you approve. The usual rural experience is hourly plus travel plus a night loading, all revealed at the end. We would rather hand you one number up front.
Yes, free and no obligation. On large elevated blocks we will be upfront that finding the problem is sometimes the job, so the diagnostic is quoted separately from the repair. That is how you avoid paying for a new pump when the fault was a pressure switch.
Card, EFTPOS or bank transfer, with staged payments on larger work such as a tank and pump replacement or a wastewater upgrade. Ask before we start so it goes into the written quote. All work is under QBCC licence 15301995.
On a steep block with long runs it is usually pipe diameter and friction loss rather than the pump being too small. Water pushed a long way uphill through undersized pipe loses pressure before it reaches the fixture, and fitting a bigger pump often just makes it noisier. We measure across the run to find where the loss actually happens. This explains the mechanics.
On a heavily treed block, usually organic matter. Leaf litter getting past the gutters into the tank breaks down and affects taste and quality, and sediment building up in the bottom makes it worse over time. First-flush diverters, inlet screens, gutter guards and periodic tank cleaning are the practical fixes. Queensland Health’s drinking water guidance is worth reading if the tank is your only supply.
