Yatala is one of the largest industrial precincts between Brisbane and the Gold Coast, and plumbing here is a commercial discipline rather than a domestic one. Food manufacturing, beverage production, cold storage, logistics and heavy fabrication all sit within a few kilometres of each other, and each brings its own requirements: process water, grease arrestors and trade waste, testable backflow prevention, hydrant and fire services, and drainage sized for hardstand and truck movements rather than a back yard.
The other thing that separates industrial work from residential is the clock. A blocked line in a production facility is not an inconvenience, it is stopped output, so response time and scheduling matter as much as the repair itself. Most of our Yatala work is deliberately booked outside production hours for exactly that reason. There are also rural pockets around the precinct still on tanks and on-site wastewater. We cover Stapylton, Ormeau and Alberton in the same run.

You approve the price before we pick up a tool. No hourly meter running, no bill shock.
A real person answers after hours, not a call centre that books you in for next week.

Really happy with Do Some Plumbing’s work on our bathroom renovation. They were knowledgeable and experienced, prompt and reliable. Great communication. Great care was taken by Dan to achieve what we wanted. We’re so happy with our bathroom and would recommend Do Some Plumbing for any plumbing needs

My experience with Do Some Plumbing was extremely satisfying. Adam took the trouble to research my unusual plumbing requirements, and he and Ethan had the job completed in a very short time. It is worth noting that I had contacted very many plumbers over a period of 5 months, and none was interested in undertaking the work. I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service standards.

I have a really simple expectation when I hire any tradesman. Show up when you say. Explain the method and the risks of the task. Communicate as needed. Complete the task. Leave my property in the same condition or better than you found it.
Every time the guys showed up they did exactly that, and made no fuss at all about doing the work. They didn’t inflate the difficulty to justify the cost, and were completely honest the whole time.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Tell us what's going on, we answer 24/7 for emergencies.
We quote before we start, you approve the cost, no surprises later.
Licensed local plumbers fix it fast and leave your place clean.

We quote the job rather than the hour, in writing, before we start, and on commercial work the quote contains what a business actually needs to approve it: scope, compliance obligations, certification and the disruption window. That is deliberate, because the thing that usually delays industrial plumbing is not the work, it is a quote that cannot be signed off without another site visit.
Free quotes with no obligation. We will also flag anything drifting toward a compliance problem, an overdue backflow test or an arrestor undersized for your current throughput, rather than waiting for it to become an urgent shutdown. Planned work is always cheaper than a stoppage.
Do Some Plumbing services homes and businesses across the Logan, Gold Coast, Brisbane & Ipswich. If you’re nearby, there’s a good chance we can get to you quickly.
If you’re not sure whether you’re within the service area, the easiest thing to do is give us a quick call. We’ll let you know straight away and point you in the right direction if you’re just outside our usual coverage.
Yes. Plumbing problems don’t always happen at convenient times. Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, and major leaks need attention quickly.
If something urgent happens, call and we’ll do our best to get a plumber out as soon as possible to stop the damage and get things under control.
It depends on where you’re located and what the schedule looks like that day.
Because we’re based in Logan, we’re already working in the surrounding suburbs most days. That means many jobs can be booked the same day, especially if you’re nearby.
For urgent problems like burst pipes, major leaks, or overflowing toilets, our priority is getting someone out quickly to stop the damage.
The best thing to do is give us a call, explain what’s happening, and we’ll let you know how soon we can get a plumber out to you.
Yes, 24/7. When you call, tell us whether the problem is threatening production, stock or trading, because that changes how we prioritise and what we bring on the truck. Isolate at the relevant valve if it is safe to do so. Our emergency service covers commercial and industrial sites as well as houses.
Usually well within the hour, and the motorway access helps. What genuinely costs time on industrial sites is not the drive, it is gate access, site inductions and after-hours entry, so tell us about those when you call and we will have them sorted before we arrive.
Trade waste and grease arrestors, backflow prevention testing and replacement, process water, hydrant and fire service maintenance, hardstand and yard drainage, and civil plumbing. We are licensed across domestic, commercial, industrial and civil, and we also cover Stapylton, Ormeau and Alberton.
Yes, and most of our Yatala work is scheduled that way on purpose. It is quoted at a fixed price rather than an after-hours rate, so working around your production does not cost you a premium. Tell us your shift pattern and we will build the job around it.
Yes, free and no obligation. Larger or staged works are broken down by stage so you can see what each part costs and sequence it around your operations, rather than receiving one figure with no detail behind it.
Card, EFTPOS and bank transfer, and yes, we invoice businesses and facilities managers directly with staged payments available on larger works. Trade waste discharge from a commercial premises is regulated and needs approval and appropriate pre-treatment. Business Queensland sets out the general obligations and we handle the plumbing side.
At intervals matched to your real throughput, not to whatever schedule was set when the business opened. Kitchens and production lines change, volumes grow, and an arrestor servicing cycle that suited you three years ago may not now. Signs it is overdue include odour, slow drainage and solids carrying over. We will assess actual loading and recommend a realistic interval rather than defaulting to the maximum.
It gets tested and reported, and the sooner the better. Testable backflow prevention devices require annual testing by a licensed and endorsed plumber with results submitted to the local authority, and an overdue test is a compliance exposure rather than a paperwork nuisance. If the device fails testing we will tell you whether it can be serviced or needs replacing, and quote both. Backflow prevention is core work for us.
