The standard rural experience is hourly plus travel plus a night loading, revealed at the end. We’d rather you had one number up front.
Yes, free and no obligation. On large blocks we’ll be upfront that finding the problem is sometimes the job itself, so the diagnostic is quoted separately from the repair. Card, EFTPOS or bank transfer, and larger jobs tank and pump replacements, wastewater upgrades, bathroom work can be staged against milestones. Ask before we start so it’s in the written quote. All work is under QBCC licence 15301995, verifiable through the QBCC licensee register.
Once a year is a sensible rhythm, and it takes very little time. What we look at: pump pressure and cut-out behaviour, the accumulator vessel, inlet screens and first-flush diverters, gutter and leaf debris, and whether the tank has silt in the bottom. Most emergency pump call-outs we attend were preventable at this stage and if the property switches between tank and town supply, we’ll check the backflow prevention at the same time.
Usually, yes. On a sloping bush block the causes are consistent: downpipes discharging to the surface rather than into a connected line, surface drains undersized for the catchment above them, and drainage that was never tied properly into anything. Left alone the water works toward the lowest structure on the property, which is generally the house. Our drainage work starts with tracing where it actually goes, not guessing.
