Jimboomba is mostly acreage, and acreage plumbing is its own trade. Long service runs mean small leaks stay hidden for months until a water bill or a soggy patch of lawn gives them away, and the big gums and camphor laurels on these blocks head straight for older clay and earthenware sewer lines. Add tank and bore setups, pressure pumps, and septic systems and HSTPs that need servicing rather than replacing, and you have the bulk of what we’re called out for between Cedar Grove, Munruben, Stockleigh and South Maclean.
The newer pockets around Jimboomba and out toward Yarrabilba and Logan Village bring the opposite problem – builder handover defects, hot water units sized to a budget rather than the household, and water pressure that drops the moment two taps run. And when the Logan and Albert rivers come up, the phones don’t stop: surcharging gullies, flooded pump housings and burst flexi-hoses. We’ve worked on blocks like yours all through Cedar Vale, Woodhill, New Beith, Greenbank, Chambers Flat and Logan Village.

You approve the price before we pick up a tool. No hourly meter running, no bill shock.
A real person answers after hours, not a call centre that books you in for next week.
QBCC licensed #15301995 and a member of Master Plumbers Queensland. Every job to code.
Fully stocked vans mean we fix most Logan jobs on the first visit, no return-trip fees.
We treat your home like our own, drop sheets down, boots off, mess cleaned up.

Really happy with Do Some Plumbing’s work on our bathroom renovation. They were knowledgeable and experienced, prompt and reliable. Great communication. Great care was taken by Dan to achieve what we wanted. We’re so happy with our bathroom and would recommend Do Some Plumbing for any plumbing needs

My experience with Do Some Plumbing was extremely satisfying. Adam took the trouble to research my unusual plumbing requirements, and he and Ethan had the job completed in a very short time. It is worth noting that I had contacted very many plumbers over a period of 5 months, and none was interested in undertaking the work. I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service standards.

I have a really simple expectation when I hire any tradesman. Show up when you say. Explain the method and the risks of the task. Communicate as needed. Complete the task. Leave my property in the same condition or better than you found it.
Every time the guys showed up they did exactly that, and made no fuss at all about doing the work. They didn’t inflate the difficulty to justify the cost, and were completely honest the whole time.
I would gladly recommend them to anyone.

Tell us what's going on, we answer 24/7 for emergencies.
We quote before we start, you approve the cost, no surprises later.
Licensed local plumbers fix it fast and leave your place clean.

There’s no single price for a plumber in Jimboomba, and anyone who quotes one over the phone without asking questions is guessing. Re-washering a tap, replacing a hot water system, jetting a root-filled drain and chasing a leak across an acre of poly are four very different jobs. What we can promise is a fixed price, agreed in writing before we start, so you approve the cost instead of watching an hourly rate tick over.
Free quotes, no obligation, across Jimboomba and the surrounding acreage. Because the blocks out here are big, we’d rather spend the time finding the actual fault than replacing parts on a hunch – that usually keeps the price down, not up. Every job is licensed, insured and backed by our workmanship guarantee.
Do Some Plumbing services homes and businesses across the Logan, Gold Coast, Brisbane & Ipswich. If you’re nearby, there’s a good chance we can get to you quickly.
If you’re not sure whether you’re within the service area, the easiest thing to do is give us a quick call. We’ll let you know straight away and point you in the right direction if you’re just outside our usual coverage.
Yes. Plumbing problems don’t always happen at convenient times. Burst pipes, overflowing toilets, and major leaks need attention quickly.
If something urgent happens, call and we’ll do our best to get a plumber out as soon as possible to stop the damage and get things under control.
It depends on where you’re located and what the schedule looks like that day.
Because we’re based in Logan, we’re already working in the surrounding suburbs most days. That means many jobs can be booked the same day, especially if you’re nearby.
For urgent problems like burst pipes, major leaks, or overflowing toilets, our priority is getting someone out quickly to stop the damage.
The best thing to do is give us a call, explain what’s happening, and we’ll let you know how soon we can get a plumber out to you.
Yes. Jimboomba is where we’re based, so it’s the one place we can almost always get to fast, whatever the hour. A real plumber answers, day or night, weekends included. If it’s a burst line, kill the water at the meter or the pump isolation valve first, on acreage a leak keeps running long after you’ve stopped noticing it. Then call and we’ll bring the right van; our burst pipe repairs and after-hours work run out of the same yard.
Faster than almost anyone else, because we’re local, not a Brisbane operator quoting Jimboomba as a “service area”. Most jobs in Jimboomba, Cedar Grove, Munruben and Stockleigh we’re there within the hour, often a good deal less. The variable out here isn’t distance so much as the property itself: long driveways, locked gates and dogs. Tell us on the phone and we’ll factor it in rather than sitting at your fence.
Everything in the surrounding acreage belt and well beyond it. Munruben, Stockleigh, Logan Village, Cedar Grove, Cedar Vale, South Maclean, North Maclean, Chambers Flat, Greenbank, New Beith, Woodhill and out to Yarrabilba and Flagstone. Because we’re based here, the surrounding blocks aren’t an afterthought, they’re the bulk of our week. The complete list sits on our service areas page.
The office is 8am to 4pm on weekdays; emergencies are covered around the clock, every day of the year. There’s no separate after-hours rate card to decode, you get one fixed quote for the job whether it’s Tuesday morning or 2am Sunday. Non-urgent work we’ll usually book into normal hours, because it’s cheaper for you and there’s no advantage in paying for a night call-out on a dripping tap.
Quotes are free with no obligation. Pricing on acreage works the same as anywhere, fixed, agreed in writing before we start, with one honest caveat: on big blocks, finding the fault is sometimes the job. Tracing a leak across an acre of buried poly, or working out why pressure drops only at the far end of the property, takes time. So we quote the diagnostic, report back with what’s actually wrong, then quote the fix. Our guide to spotting a hidden leak yourself is a good first step before you call.
Card, EFTPOS or bank transfer, and we can stage payments on bigger jobs like a pump and tank overhaul or a bathroom rebuild, just ask before we start so it goes in the quote. Everything we do is licensed and insured plumbing work, which matters more than people realise: in Queensland most plumbing and drainage work legally has to be done by a licensed plumber and, depending on the job, notified or approved. The Queensland Government’s plumbing laws page sets out where that line sits.
Usually the water bill tells us before anything else does. From there it’s a meter isolation test to confirm the leak is on your side, then acoustic listening and pressure testing to narrow it down section by section, so we’re not digging up a hundred metres of driveway on a guess. Wet patches and unusually green stripes of lawn are useful clues, but they’re often nowhere near the actual break. If Logan Water has flagged high consumption on your account, their water leaks page explains what’s your responsibility and what’s theirs.
Yes, tanks, pressure pumps, bore pumps, first-flush diverters, filtration and the switching between tank and town supply where a property has both. Two things we see constantly out here: pumps installed with no thought to the run they’re actually pushing water through, and tank-to-mains changeovers plumbed without backflow prevention, which is both a contamination risk and a compliance problem. We’ll tell you which of those you’ve got before quoting anything. New installs are covered under our rainwater tank services.
